Virtues
To live the virtues of faith, hope and love, acting with prudence, temperance, fortitude and justice.

Little Shepherds’ Schoolhouse is a space dedicated to nurturing faith and character development — where children grow academically while becoming compassionate, globally-minded individuals.
We nurture each child to learn with joy, grow in virtue and God’s love, and be faithful stewards of our world.
None of that is an abstraction. It shows up in how a three-year-old greets a friend, in the way a class tends its garden, and in the gratitude assembly that opens every morning. We believe children learn virtue the same way they learn language — by living inside it.

Six values, held together by one word: VIRTUES.
To live the virtues of faith, hope and love, acting with prudence, temperance, fortitude and justice.
To be honest and truthful, and to do what is right even when no one is watching.
To show positive regard for all creation, accepting others as they are.
To work together as one community, with kindness — listening to one another and sharing the load.
To give our best in all that we do, and to keep learning and growing for the children in our care.
To care for God’s creation and to use what we are given wisely and generously.
Each value is named, modelled and practised daily — so children learn to recognise it in themselves and in one another. Beacons of Light

While the name Little Shepherds’ Schoolhouse is relatively new, our individual centres have operated for many years — with generations of our young having passed through their portals.
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore has been extensively involved in the provision of education in Singapore, and our centres are part of that long tradition: neighbourhood preschools affiliated with parish communities, known and trusted by the families around them.
Four commitments we keep.
Our faith and character formation programme — faith, virtues and values woven naturally into everyday learning rather than taught as a separate subject.
Children develop resilience, creativity and responsibility by connecting local and global contexts.
Each centre is affiliated with a parish community — families, neighbours and volunteers are part of daily life.
45+ years of Catholic preschool education, with a charity board accountable to the families we serve.
Little Shepherds’ Schoolhouse is operated by Catholic Preschool Education (Singapore) Ltd (CPES), a faith-based non-profit entity of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore. CPES is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity under the Charities Act, operating six preschools under the Little Shepherds’ Schoolhouse brand.

Nothing explains LSS like standing in one of our classrooms on an ordinary Tuesday morning.
