Yes. Children have breakfast at 8:00am, lunch at 12:00pm and a snack session at 3:00pm. Please let your centre know about any allergies or dietary requirements at registration.

After lunch, children wind down with a story before settling in for their afternoon rest. Half-day children are dismissed at 1:00pm, while full-day children continue with their rest and afternoon programme.

Outdoor playtime runs from 9:00am daily, with gardening activities on specific days of the week. Outdoor learning is part of the Discovery & Nature domain rather than a break from learning.

Curriculum & faith

What and how we teach.

No. Our centres welcome families of all faiths and backgrounds. All children take part in the daily Gratitude Assembly and in virtue formation, which are part of the LSS curriculum for everyone.

Beacons of Light is LSS’s faith and character formation programme, where faith, virtues and values are woven naturally into children’s everyday learning and experiences. Through age-appropriate experiences, children are guided to grow in virtue, deepen their awareness of God’s love and learn to care for others and the world around them.
