Mentoring
Every new educator is supported by an experienced colleague who guides them as they settle into their role. Through regular observation, conversations and feedback, our educators learn from one another and grow together.

We treat teaching as a craft to be deepened over years — not a role to be filled. Here is how that plays out in practice.

Learning continues for our educators too. Alongside regular in-house training led by our curriculum team, educators are supported to attend relevant external courses and professional development opportunities that strengthen their knowledge and practice.
We support educators at every stage of their professional journey. From Assistant Teacher to Lead Teacher, Senior Teacher and centre leadership roles, educators are encouraged to develop their strengths, deepen their skills and work towards the qualifications needed for their next step.
As educators, we believe that the values we hope to nurture in children are best taught when they are also lived and modelled. Guided by the spirit of Beacons of Light, our educators take part in ongoing formation and reflection that deepen their understanding of faith and virtue, shaping how they teach, care for children and relate to one another.
